-PLAYOFFS WEEK 1 NEWS:
- Grit's Geesers, Square Wheels 2.0 & Homedale Winnin' Ugly played with just 3 last week.
- Geeser Capt. Alan Benoit got himself a 180.

Ineligible Playoffs -WEEK 10 NEWS:
- Winnin' Tammy Yrle went 2-4 last week and earned half of her team's total points for the night in the Ugly's shorthanded 4-15 loss to the Roosevelt by single-handedly defeating Space Bulls Kenny & Lauren in Doubles 501.  Nice one, Tammy!
- Friendly Bar forfeited to Daddy Dart & Kingpin Trash forfeited to 45 Tchoup Sticks.  BB When played w/ just 3 vs the Aces.

-WEEK 9 NEWS:
For the first time in at least two years, no teams will go undefeated this season.
- No scores reported from the Week 8 match of Eggs vs. Pour House.
- BB When currently has two missed matches and needs to reschedule at least one to avoid forfeiting the summer season.
- Despite losing to the Degens 14-5, the Half Moon put up a good fight judging by their 13 Allstars including a 180 from Richard Beu and a R9 from Chris Jones. 
- The Friendlies gave the Aces their first loss of the season with Capt., John Schaff hitting his first 180 in league play, congrats! 
- Heaux Donny Corkern continues his Allstar domination with a R9, bringing his total to an incredible 43 in 8 weeks of play.
- Start counting your games to qualify for Playoffs.  Breaks given for teams that played vs. short-handed or MIA teams.

-WEEK 8 NEWS:
- Trash Stewart Hill won his solo Double Cricket vs. the Dysfunctional Matts.
- Mick's Degenerates gave the Heauxs their first loss in almost two years, 10-9.
- Week 7 match between Oak St. Brewers vs. Henry's Hammers has been rescheduled for July 12.  No scores reported from Daddy Dart vs. BB When, they didn't play but I'm not sure if it's being rescheduled or not.

-WEEK 7 NEWS:
Hoppy Dave Wright shot a R9 in their 13-6 win over the Oak St. Brewers who only had 3 players. 
Other teams that played short were the Double-Ins & BB When.

-WEEK 6 NEWS:
- Just Kevin Rogers got a 180. 
- Basin BB When rescheduled their Week 5 match with the Friendlies.
- The Eggs defended the honor of ODC and all of North America by narrowly defeating the invading Swedes from V12 dart league in Stockholm.  Sadly their futbol team suffered the same fate at the hands, or rather feet I should say, of the undoubtedly stoned Amsterdam team 4-1.

-WEEK 5 NEWS:     LAST WEEK TO ADD PLAYERS!
- High Brett Hubrig got a 180 and Daddy Gabriel Hernandez got a R9.

-WEEK 4 NEWS:
- Pour House's Chris Williams shot a Round of Nine. Heaux Andrew Hammack got a 180.
- THE SWEDES ARE COMING!  ODC's first international challenge match will be at Grit's Tuesday June 16th.  Team Captain Patrick Palmqvist of the Stockholm V12 Dart League sent me an email requesting some steel tip action while his team is in town partying before driving to Houston for Sweden's World Cup match vs. the Netherlands.  They demanded our best shooters so naturally we're throwing the Eggs at them to represent the U.S.A.  Just kidding, they DON'T want to play our best and the Eggs are the only team available because it's their Bye week. They seem like a fun crew and smart enough to spend most of their vacation in NOLA and just drive to Houston for the game so finish your matches early and come out to meet them.

-WEEK 3 NEWS:
- Heauxs vs. Geesers Week 2 match has been postponed.
- Ace Noah Causey got a R9 and there were two 180s shot in the Platinum match between Half Moon (Tony Fazzari) and Mick's Degens (Ryan McMahon).

-WEEK 2 NEWS:
- In Gold 2, BB When defeated the Mud Bugs 10-9 with only 3 players.  BB Kyle Albarol went 5-1 on the night, winning his solo 501 over Zach & Kieron. In Gold 1, the THAD also played with 3 but only got 9 points which is still pretty good.
- In Platinum, Heaux Donny Corkern shattered the record for single night Allstars with an amazing 14.  Teammate Andrew Hammack provided some backup with a less flashy 8 total Allstars, including a R9 and 93 out.  Unfortunately, none of the other Heauxs were allowed to hit any Allstars for Week 1 because there was no room left on the scorecard to record them, even in the margins.

Summer seasons are always the smallest of the year as players vacay or have other obligations and 2026 is no exception. 7 teams are sitting out (Hitmen, Bungholes, Dart Side, Bangin', Dartists, Oak Blokes & Gamblers) while the Holy Ground Oofdas & Dead Eyes are combining (Oofdicks) but we are welcoming one new team out of Pour House District on Girod St. for a grand total of 33; an imperfect number that requires Byes and/or different sized divisions in the schedule.
The 4 team Platinum division will have an extended regular season of 12 weeks so their player requirements have gone up accordingly (18 games needed for Playoffs & 24 for MVP). After dancing on the boundary of Gold 1 and Platinum for years, Just the Tip finally crossed the tipping point with their most stacked roster to date Grit's Geesers are also beefing up their roster, recruiting surprise veteran Westbank talent to, along with the oft-runner-up Degens, help loosen the Heauxs' iron grip on the Grail and stop them from keeping it for 2 years straight. There was a sizable 30 point Team Power Rating dropoff between these 4 teams and the next two teams (Oofdicks & Brewers) so it made sense to put just these 4 into Platinum.
Unfortunately, there weren't enough teams left (only 5) for a proper Bronze Grail playoffs and finals so these teams will be in the inaugural and near mythical Lead Division, heretofore only spoken of in whispers ("We should be in LEAD!") No Bronze Grail, no individual mug awards but the best two will get to compete at the Finals event for a misshapen chunk of slag metal with the never-before-bestowed and slightly dubious title of Lead Champion.

- Rule Reminders on Adding Players: The deadline to add players is Week 5.  The top division can add anyone.  Other divisions can add "new" (never played league darts before) but need approval to add anyone who has played league before.  You must get approval from the Dartsar BEFORE the Tuesday match (not during) or you may be playing an ineligible player(s) and forfeit any games they win.  Carry on.
-  Each week, someone on your team should check the Warning Box above to help you avoid penalties.  Also check the scores and stats because every season a few errors crop up among the 3-4 thousand data entries and YOU are the only proofreader.  We rely on you to catch those inevitable mistakes so please email Tom with any errors you find, thanks!
