- Of all 14 first round Playoff matches, only TWO (Grit's vs. 45 Tchoup & Parlay's vs. LotsaLuck) have teams from the same neighborhood, so one of y'all will necessarily be on the road for your match, sorry. We're going to wait for the Week 1 results before assigning bars for Week 2 to better place your match in your home area. -WEEK 10 NEWS: PLEASE SEND YOUR STATS EARLY THIS WEEK TO SPEED UP MAKING NEXT WEEK'S PLAYOFF SCHEDULE & DETERMINE MVPS, ETC. Thanks for competing with us this Spring 2026 season and good luck to all in the Playoffs. As always, all members are invited to attend the City Grail Finals at Grit's on Cinco de Mayo when we'll have some spicy Tex-Mex fare, some ice cold Oak St. draft and steel tip fireworks on 4 boards at once! We hope to see you there, whether it's holding your darts and competing or holding your beer and cheering. Also... SUMMER ROSTERS DUE 5/7, SEASON STARTS 5/12 - Starving Dartists & Degens played short (3) last week. - There were lots of Mystery Outs for Week 9. The Hitmen were probably all WTF!? as Just the Tip kept sniping their outs (67, 83 & 104 via DB) from long range in their 16-3 drubbing. The drubbings were plentiful in every division last week with an excess of 18-1, 17-2 & 16-3 scores as we enter the final week before Playoffs. - Gold 3 Stat Correction: Bangin' the Neighbors appealed their Week 8 16-3 score vs. Not Even Close as incorrect (a typo on the website had 13-3, oops). Both signed cards had 16-3 but one of the 301 losses was in error as confirmed by BOTH captains in the subsequent exhaustive investigation with multiple documents submitted for evidence and several witnesses interviews conducted. Hence the ODC High Council has ruled unanimously in favor of the plaintiff and awarded them a 17-2 score correction. I can assure you it was all very above board and legit and I urge anyone else who wants to appeal their scores to simply send me your non-refundable $50 "application fee" along with your desired score change and the High Council will be contacting you shortly. <=APRIL FOOL'S LOL :D -WEEK 9 NEWS: - BB Shawn Comeaux and 4 Bulls were a thing last week. He hit 3 of them (and only them) for a total of 6 Allstars. Bunghole Greg Blum also had a good night with 3 of his 5 stars coming from a Ton-80; but the biggest fireworks came from the Clash of the Plat-Titans between the Heauxs & the Degens. Heaux Andrew Hammack doubled his Allstar total (18) with 9 that night including a R9 while Degen Ryan Galvin harpooned the newest High Out, a 145. (sorry Mike Stelter!) -Evangeline only had 3 Wires but still got 9 pts.vs. the Meat Sticks. Brewers only had 3 players vs. the Geesers but that was one more than their Week 8 wins (2). - Despite text reassurances from Rod Stewart (via GIF meme) himself that Tonight's the Night for their first win, the Double Ins fell to the Buddies 8-11. Stay With Me here because there are only 2 weeks left so I asked them for a Reason to Believe but they only said I Don't Want To Talk About It. -WEEK 8 NEWS: -In B2 news, Oak Blokes won 12-7 over Eggxiled w/ only 3 players. Also, they made up their postponed Week 4 match with barmates the Brew Tang Clan, the Clan winning it 13-6. - For those of you following the Double In/Stumble Out winless saga, last week's one point loss was not their closest grasp for the ring this season but was in fact a desperate comeback from the brink of disaster. The score was 8-2 in favor of the Mud Bugs when the DI/SOs rallied to take 7 of the remaining 9 points for that 9-10 final score you see. There are just three more weeks to go, Stumblers, but we're all rooting for ya! (excepting maybe your next 3 opponents: the Buddies, the Trash & the Projectiles). Props to Bug JW Cornwell who took a 65 Out via Single Bull>D20 like a pro. - THAD Greg Ouellette got a TON-80! - There are some upcoming tournaments: a Fundraiser Doubles Tournament at Grit's on March 21st ($50 team signup, $300 payout, etc) and Saturday March 28 at High Noon at Oak St. Brewery ($10 person Blind Draw) -WEEK 7 NEWS: -Winnin' Ugly played short w/ 3 vs. Hoppy Endings, as did Untouch A Bull (3 players) vs. Melius, and also Bungholes (3 players) vs. Geesers where Al Benoit shot a 180 to go with his earlier R9 and now just needs the 6B for the whole set. Heaux Bobby Buuck got a R9 in their slimmest victory so far, a 10-9 win over the Brewers who clinched the triples game at Homedale. -Any teams needing to make up a postponed match are encouraged to make use of our St. Patrick's week off to do so. -WEEK 6 NEWS: - We're now at the halfway point of the season. The Platinum division is advancing as expected but every team has at least one win so far and after 5 weeks only two undefeated teams remain, the Heauxs & the Roosevelt. Meanwhile, fellow Homedaliens the Double Ins are the sole team still Stumbling towards their first victory on the hazy and distant horizon. - Congrats to Geeser Allen Benoit & Just Chris Jones on their recent R9s and a shout out to Heaux Johnny Vaccarella for his Ton-Eighty. But the LOUDEST SHOUT GOES TO IS IT ROBYN SHEPHERD'S on her SIX BULLS!!!! Piyow! - Most of the Fall 2026 mugs and plaques have been delivered to your bars so please ask for them if you are expecting something. I still have a box of Oak St. Brewers mugs and a few random MVPs to deliver, probably on Tuesday 3/3. - I have a clarification to share regarding the Henry's team name change to THAD. It stands for Totally Hyped About Darts which now seems obvious in retrospect. -WEEK 5 NEWS (MARDI GRAS BREAK) - A couple of muy importante team name changes to note: Henry's THAD (formerly Patriot Act!) and Mick's Worsted (formerly Dartacus). - Bronze 2 Oak St's Brew Tang vs. Oak Bloke Week 4 match postponed to a future as yet unscheduled date. -WEEK 4 NEWS: - Week 5 is the deadline for roster additions so use this 2-week Mardi Gras break to recruit if your team needs backup. - Congrats to Heaux Donny Corkern on his 180 and Daddy Alec Matys & Bug Will Hibert on their R9s. WEEK 3 NEWS: - ATTENTION GOLD 1: HOG ALLEY BULLS ON PARADE has been dropped from the schedule. Their position is now a BYE week and the 3rd place team in Platinum will earn a first week BYE in playoffs. -WEEK 2 NEWS: - In your packets you'll find a page with a SCHEDULE & the VERY IMPORTANT CAPTAINS' CONTACT LIST. Use this whenever you need to CONTACT a CAPTAIN for something unexpected. - Hog Alley overslept the first week vs. Daddy Dart but have plenty time to either reschedule or play a double-point match Week 6. - SUMMER $$$ WINNERS: email Tom with your preferred payment method, PayPay, Venmo, cash or check. Congrats! - Rule Reminders on Adding Players: The deadline to add players is Week 5. The top division can add anyone. Other divisions can add "new" (never played league darts before) but need approval to add anyone who has played league before. You must get approval from the Dartsar BEFORE the Tuesday match (not during) or you may be playing an ineligible player(s) and forfeit any games they win. Carry on. - Each week, someone on your team should check the Warning Box above to help you avoid penalties. Also check the scores and stats because every season a few errors crop up among the 3-4 thousand data entries and YOU are the only proofreader.
